Imperial Guard Salamander Conversion

Hey All.

A number of you have been kind enough to comment on my Guard army when I've been at the club and - although I'm unable to get there at the mo - I thought I'd share this model I've just finished work on. It's designed to proxy for a command salamander or even a chimera...mostly because I really fancied trying to convert a wheeled vehicle:













An online acquaintance gave me the (resin) wheels, the axles and the Leman Russ hull out-of-the-blue...the rest was just me doing a bit of research for images and delving into the ol' bits box. Sadly the final wash smeared a little...
