| if they're metal (afaik witch elves are) then I can highly recommend brake fluid, it eats through acrylic paint like nobodies business. | |

| Now that you mention it, i have heard that before about brake fluid. Personally i dont bother stipping paint... i just never paint them again! It was too much effort the first time. | |

| I tried the Mr Muscle drain unblocker and was pretty disappointed. Kept metal figures in for almost 24hrs and almost no paint came off.
I came across someone using Dettol antiseptic disinfectant (brown one) and all I can say is this stuff is VERY good. Left the models in for an hour or so and already I could get most of the paint off. Thats using it on a metal model with primer, paint and varnish on it. Meant to be safe with plastic models as well though haven't tried yet. Only thing you have to watch out for is that you wash the models afterwards with water and washing-up liquid. Else you get a gloopy mess all over the model. | |

| On the internet! I don't stalk the streets of Plymouth looking for Dettol users. | |
