So How is everyone getting to Exeter?

We have quite a large group and I can pootle up with my bucket of bolts on wheels, but does everyone have transport?

solid vic in first round against vamps 17/3
exellent game with boddie in second round 10/10 draw
wiped out in last game with just hellpit and a unit of giant rats left pesky vampires 20/0

It was ok think the time limit was too tight so loads of games didn't get finished think the worse was mine and andys game finishing on turn 3. Think would been nice if also a better score chart witH a clearer breakdown of victory points and tournaments so u don't get a draw at the top decided by painting or sportsmanship which is a subjective score entirely based on your opponent and nothing to do with the skill of playing

second game vs deamons based army- me 10 him- 10
final game vs vampire counts army- me 20 him -0

1st chaos dwarves won 17-3

2nd some short persons rats draw 10-10

3rd wood elves i know hes a good player won legionary last year but had a shit list epic win 20-0

came 5th overall

1st Game
Was against a very nicely painted Orc and Goblin army but used models from LOTR instead. SV 17-3

2nd Game
Skaven army with 8 Jezzails! I made sure they went down quickly. Got irresistable comet in first turn and it carried on for 2 more turns. Rolled a 6 for it landing going 18", hit everything in his army and my 2 terradon units. Was not a pretty site afterwards. M 20-0

3rd Game
Against Ogre Kingdom on top table, when improbable things happen, they happen in 2's MV 13-7

Overall - 3rd place

Same complaints as everyone else really, not nearly enough time to finish a game and results may have been very different because of it. Hopefully they fix it for next year.

i prefer almost tall rat person

4th overall with 47 points so stopped in my tracks of tournament dominance by mr avery!

Well to be honest a pretty poor event.

None of the organisers knew what was going on, no trophies unlike last year, a crazy rush when it was found out the venue shut a lot earlier than expected. No discernable system to seperate people on same scores other than arbritary painting and sportsmanship scores (again last year these were seperate trophies). All in all poor and a great detraction from last years event which was well organised, well run with plenty of time for games and banter (and lunch) and great fun. This event left an undesirable taste in the mouth, lets hope next year is an improvement.

Better still, lets hold our own tournament. If PAW and rygas can do it i see no reason why we cannot do so as well.

Anyway rant over.

Came 2nd overall

1st game total wipeout of vampires (massacre)
2nd game not sure if it was a game as it was all about to kick off when told it was over! Did enough for minor vic vs vampires
3rd game solid win (very close to massacre) of the gunshow senior, male version, with warriors.

Not too bad just dissapointed with the way it was run and the fact we were all compartmentalised in little box rooms.

I thought one of the organisers said they would post the results on our forum, had a look at the legionary, rygas etc forums and not found anything about results.
