Well we could do 2k, the only reason I suggested playing less than that was because I have no way of countering that eternal guard unit so it would be a default win to you before any models were even put on the table

Ah Jeremy that is rubbish!

I believe that DE have the perfect counter to that big block. Its called shooting and magic. Bolt thrower, crossbow, chillwind and hydras breath will mince through T3 elfsies. Sure he will screen the unit but you have the manoeverability to get around this unit and direct play, kill his screens then deal with his block without engaging. There are enough points outside the block to get a big win, aka treedude, wild riders, wardancers, waywatchers.

You may have a point there Andi though the unit does have a 5+ ward and mag res 2 (I think...) regardless that is some good advise.

Okay we can do 2k if you want Rob, up to you. I'd prefer not to play 2250 because I need to leave early tomorrow so I will hopefully arrive fairly early.
