hellpit the destroyer

finally finished
it started life as a base section off the new plague furnace, after much cutting and gluing i was happy with the shape.i decided it would look different if was carried by some hapless slaves and a couple of saurus wedged underneath.next to build the body ,luckily max happened to have a giant lying around so off with his legs and head ,this gave me the height i wanted . back to the bitz box and hey presto a sun dragons head,no tounge though so a rat was inserted in its place.i wanted to have a ridged spine and tail so sacrified a metal dark elf dragon.this left a huge gap in the back so i filled it in with heads and jaws/teeth from the bitz box,this gave me an idea to sculpt around some of
them leaving some of the heads and teeth sticking out. nxt came the hard bit, trying to get the gorger and carny head coming out of the body it probally took 5/6 attempts to get it looking right.in the book the hellpit has tenticals forlegs so more greenstuff and swearing. all what was left was the arms luckily i had a load of giant kit parts left from helly 1 .the finishing touch was the handgunner in the cage hanging from a arm,the story behind this was again in the picture in the skaven book a lone handgunner is sttood bravely in front of an advancing hellpit,well he didn`t make it and is now forced to shoot his empirew buddies for the rest of eternity or be eaten very slowly
