New Prize Announcement!!! - The GOLDEN GOBLIN Award

In addition to the overall winner's trophy, there will also be an award for the player who scores the most amount of VPs in the group stage of the World Cup. As it is only based on the VPs from the group stage, all players have a fair stab at winning.

Now go forth and annihilate!

On a separate note, with Team Breddy back on the coach to the Northern Wastes, another brave warrior has stepped forward to take his place. Jeremy Grimoldby (Dark Elves) has been added to Group 4.

I do not expect lists for several reasons, chief among which is that I don't own the army books necessary to check them all. I trust everyone will do their best to enter a legal list and double-check before playing. If anyone is found to be playing an illegal list, then an appropriate penalty will be applied. At the recent Tempest Rising tournament the penalty was -1000000TPs for an incorrect list. Needless to say, there were none.

Not sure about lycra on my high elves, but when caradryan cuts down 2 tree kin in 1 turn and a treeman in the second, I don't think you can call them "pontsy"

I enjoyed it too. Everything was going swimmingly until Mr Caradyran gave the White Lions MR3 to protect them from treesinging. Suddenly my back-line became very vulnerable and all my trees went up in flames. Highlights for me include the lone High Elf Mage stranded in front of 23 Glade Guard, the Treeman reduced to cinders in one round of combat, the Hunting Spear through the Dragon Princes and, of course, Beast Cowers with IF on Tyrion. cheers
