Yeah it's only the draw being done on the 24th, the games start on the 3rd March

thats really good this tournament is really popular im glad i got in early by asking about it a while ago also there is quite a good mix of races in the tournament so ill get to play races i dont normally get to play

there are only two ogre players so far mike you and jon it looks like wood elves are the minority in this tournament

exactly i love it as that means ill get to play races i dont normally get to play at GW cant wait for the draw what ever group im put in will be a fun group as ill get 3 games against new players

I'll give it a go even if I dont know the rules, take Dark Elves as usual. Ed is interested but cant make Thursdays, only the Mondays, any way round this?

Oh just read the draw will be on the 24th, likely I wont be there that week but I can have my army list finalised before then and posted if thats alright.

so all we need now are some dwarfs and we have every race from the warhammer world im a bit shocked there is only one skaven player so far as GW vets night is full of skaven players

@Jeremy, I've added you on. It won't be possible to add Ed if he can only make Mondays. While some games will probably take place on Monday, I can't guarantee that all his opponents can play then.

22 players, great going 2players short of 4 groups of 6 possibly enough for an extra stage, top two from each group, whos organising the sweepstake? second thoughts forget that i'll probably draw Slovenia! shame about Barry Breddy, if its transport i don't mind dropping him back.

rob is it ok if i use the GW army roster PDF printout to write out my army list or would you prefer 2 hand written lists i was going to do 2 one for me one to give in to the judges im guessing thats you is that what you meant by having to give in your list if so when does it have to be given in to you by ?

Army Lists

I would like army lists to be handed or PMed to me at any time before the 24th February draw. You can give them to me in any format so long as it is legible.

The purpose of handing in lists before the draw is to prevent anyone tailoring their list for the group stage.

I will not be checking the lists for errors. That's your job.

Remember that we will be playing the scenarios from the rulebook, so pack in sufficient banners for the Blood and Glory scenario.

Remember to write down who is the army general and which magic lores your wizards are using.

If you are worried that I might be involved in some nefarious scheme to see all your lists first, then tailor mine to destroy all 21 of you, don't be. I'm not that cunning. However, if you do not want to reveal your magic items or assassins then you do not have to.

Sample:

Treeman Ancient (army General) + Stuff = 375
Spellsinger, Level 1, Lore of Athel Loren, Steed, + toys = 127

10 Glade Guard, banner and musician = 138

And so on...

ill put my list in a envelope so if anyone wants to compare my list before and after they can open the envelope to check its the same and the blood and glory scenario looks nasty but fun so its 1 point for every standard plus 2 points for your general skaven can have loads thats ridiculous
