| Hey Guys!!
Just to let you know that I will be running a 40K knock-out tournament at the end of June.
I'm looking for at least 16 players, but 24 would be great!
Armies can be taken from any codex, games will be 2,000 pts with a fixed list.
NO units/characters to be taken from other sources i.e Imperial Armour books etc.
Games will be multiple objective missions, probably five. One of the missions as well as being objective-based will also have an additional bonus for killing the primary enemy HQ.
In the event of a draw, victory pts will be used to determine a winner.
There will be NO 'counts as' armies.
Final will be a straight-forward blood & guts Pitched Battle, Annihilate game.
There will be an entry fee, this is to go towards trophies for the winner & the two runners-up.
Please see me or Lee in the club or put your name forward on here if you're up for it.
Thanks. | |

| Just an update on the knockout tourney, if enough people sign up the players will be put into groups, that way even if you lose the 1st game you still have a chance to go through to the next stage.
Would everybody who's interested please put their name & what army they'll be using asap so I can get things started.
Thanks. | |

| Hey guys!! Just getting a bit concerned about the lack of names for the tournament, I need to know for sure who's up for taking part so I can make all of the preperations to get this event going. Basically I need as many names as possible to be down by the 20th of June otherwise I'll have to cancel it. Thanks. | |

| May seem a daft question, but are you looking at a Saturday's event, or spread out over a couple of gaming nights?
I've sworn off 'competitive' play in general, but I'll happily throw down if I can...and if you need me to...

| Hey Chris.
The event's going to be held over a number of weeks, as it'll be like a world cup tourney with group stages then going onto knockout games.
Was going to ask you, but didn't know if you were able to commit for playing every week.

| Hi, Jay - I just spoke to Wife about it, and I reckon I should be okay for it. I'm away for the week of 18-22nd July, but otherwise I think I can make the nights...
It'd be my poor, wretched old Guard I'd roll out to catch the bullets...

| Hey Chris.
That's great! Don't worry about missing a week, the fantasy tourney had gaps while people were away.

| Just thought I'd mention about the entry fee, it's going to be £2.00 each.
This is to cover the cost of the trophies & also a extra prize on offer...
Thanks again to all the people who have said 'yes' so far. Would like a few more names just to round it off.
The carnage is coming!!!!

| Sorry Jay
Life looks like its going to come and bite me. Work wants me to do a few Thurs evenings through Jul and as yet cannot confirm timings. So I think I had better withdraw, here's hoping you all have good games though.

| That's a bit rubbish! Work must come first as always, we can all get more figures whenever we want but a job's a little more tricky... Will have to arrange a game when the dust settles, plus I owe your Slaaneshi Ladyboys a pounding! | |
