Best dice rolls ever

Mine has to be in a Apocalypse game where I blew away Mike's Stompa in one shot with my Shadowsword: Placed the template, rolled to scatter - hit. & as the Volcano cannon is a D weapon it penetrates automatically, rolled on the damage chart & rolled a 6. That took 1 structure pt off & another roll - another 6! rolled again, a 5, but D weapons add 1 so that became another 6. That's now 3 structure pts gone, rolled another 5 - Kapow! 4 stucture pts in 1 shot! Shame it didn't go nuclear & take out half the table with it, but I wasn't really going to complain!!

I think mine would have to be when I was fighting Lee's Eldar, and first turn my squad of 5 Ratling snipers wounded and killed his Avatar. Lee was a little annoyed at that so he blew away 4 of my snipers, but incredibly the last one passed his leadership of 5. This 1 Ratling then next turn took a shot at a Fire Prism. I hit it, then I needed double 6 to glance (4th ed.) I got the double, then because of its holofields I had to roll 2 dice and pick the lowest for damage. I got a 6 and a 5 which left it immobilised.

I remember that game. Was funny when the Avatar got nailed by a hobbit with a sniper rifle!

Lol. Yeah, since then they were forever known as snotlings and Lee bares a deep hatred for little guys. XD

I remember that game J when you took out the Stompa!! I was on that team. Some of the luckiest dice rolling I've seen. but lady luck is a fickle beast and her mood can be changed easily. I've always said in all games you can have the best tactics in the world, but if the dice wont roll in your favour your as good as dead.

Totally agree mate! I (& I'm sure many others) have had games when the game's been so one-sided only to turn completly round with a series of rubbish rolls. As you said it only takes one or two minor things to go wrong & suddenly
your whole game goes out the window.

Should i ever get lucky dice rolls, ill be sure to post them here...

.....infact I almost divulged the glorious battle between 4 stealers who assulted my Terminator Sgt armed only with a power sword and his undying faith who survived every attack that the you (I mean the stealers) could throw at him and then he cleared the room himself. I almost told that story but I did'nt want to upset anyones pride.....^_~

By far the best rolling ever on my behalf was against Mark when my unit of 6xKhorne Berzerkers (3xPlasma Pistols) destroyed: 3x Chimeras, 2xLeman Russ' and a Hellhound in 7turns
They werent just wrecked, they were completely destroyed.
Sorry Mark, it just had to be said. Although in your defence i couldnt for the life of me destroy your Demolisher with a multi melta!!

my best dice role happened this week during an epic battle this week with robs tricksy wood elfs. In the first round of magic I managed to cast `THE DREADED THIRTEENTH SPELL `not once but twice .The first was by my Vermin lord on some horsey elfs the look on poor old robs face when these elite pain in the arse killing machines suddenly changed into 6 scaby clanrats was a rare treat(its worth mentioning that this was only allowed due to a VERY VERY generous line of sight given by elfy rob,on another day I don`t think he will be so nice!!!!.still a double 6 and a dice role of 30 saw that one home
second up was grey seer skweek van skweel high up on the screaming bell after a quick munch on half his warp tokens and all his power dice a quick prayer to the horned one and 2 6`s and no 1`s ment that robs very old treeman decided he needed a change of form and popped into a clanrat (you cant blame him).Lucky some might say

(this is really max) i was playing jeremy (grimoldby) and my 7cold ones were flank charged by a dreadlord on manticore. i thought they're goners. they take the charge with only 1 wound. they hold for 3 turns before breaking the dreadlordand running him down and the manticore. BUT it has to be said even with this great luck and other things (like his dark riders fleeing instead of flank charging my 20 corsairs w lokir fell heart due to lokhirs terror) i was still butcherd.

are those pesky skaven will resort to anything to win .I`ll have to change my lucky dice rolls as at least one of them was illegal and the other was cast correctly but on the wrong sort of unit oh well I didn`t win anyway .must be a bit(alot) rusty after my layofff
