Fantasy Doubles Tournament 14/01/10

Hi all,

We will be holding a knock out Fantasy doubles tournament, starting on the 14/01/10. The army composition will be 1500pts per player however, you will fight as one 3000pt army as regards to your army build, so your gonna have to sit down with your team mate and talk about what each of you will bring.

Special 0-5
Rare 0-3

Characters
Total = 6
Max Lords = 2
Max Heroes = 6

Each player must have 1 character to act as their general. Your allied team mate must be of the same alignment as you. The cost of all this fun will be £1 per player.

Just to clarify

If 2 players are joining together with the same army can you duplicate magic items? Or is it just 1 item per team.

Im assuming its the latter as you fear playing 2 helms of commandment, 2 regen banners etc?

@ Andi Avery - there is a rulepack coming on this Thursday. Issues such as doubling up special characters and magic items will be clarified then.

@ Andy White - great that you and Kev are interested. There are still others showing interest so when we get a final definite indication of numbers we should be able to include everybody, which we really want to do. It may mean some sort of pre-qualifying or repechage to make it work.

Hi, guys, just a quickie, how will it work if I take Orc&Goblins and we have 2 of the same army, do we have double WAAAAAAGGGHHH move , or is someone selected as the Overall general?

How about BSB, only 1 allowed?

And 0-1 choices how does that work?

The full rulepack will be made available on Thursday, but for those of you who can't wait...

No magic items can be taken more than once within an army, except the usual dispel scrolls, power stones etc.

One BSB per army

One General per army, though this will be chosen by rolling off before deployment between the lead characters of the two forces.

0-1 choices = 0-1 across both forces if of the same race. So, two Bret forces could only take 0-1 unit of pegasus knights.

(Army = the 2 combined forces
Force = the models under one player's control)
