Thinking that you've got an easy draw until you add up the victory points and then find out that you've lost by 491 vp

Halfling archers can kill wardancers at 20 paces
Having a unit of wardancers in the rear and a unit of dryads in the flank really hurts
Halfling chefs can have bad days (Yes Andi he was killed )
Level 1 wizards can't take on units on their own!
WS1 Wardancers is funny

It is possible to play three turns before realising you've forgotten to deploy a unit.

hellpit abominations don`t just come back to life you have to remember to roll the dice before the game ends and your packing away ooppps

Dwarfs on speed really rock! They can actually do laps round the table via a building slingshot.

New Minotaurs actually are hard as nails /roar

Can you say 10 attacks /rip /rend/roar

Steam Tank is Awesome at 1500pts. High point was Rich charging it with the Plague Furnace and taking d6 s6 impact hit back and destroying itself

Needing and rolling double 1 in turn 6 for me to win the game

The Hellpit is nasty at 1500pts my poor infantry in one round of combat my Swordsmen took 17 strength 6 hits

to be fair it only had 1 wound left after being raped by cannons AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

1500 pts armies are cool (not against steam tanks though) learnt alot last night gutter runners suck run like the cowards they are never to be seen again
hellpit is a must,and a battle standard is vital as a match winner isn`t it young owen

the skaven way seems to be lots of multi hitting units rather than blocks but we`ll see what it does against chaos warriors next week

The Steam Tank being immobilised out of the game in turn 1 by strength 3 arrows

must get some ratty archers

Glade Guard vs Steam Tank = Win
Anything vs the Chef = Loss

last thing i learnt was
no mather how many ratty tricks and superior numbers you have nothing but nuthing can stop a tooled up unit of bloodknights

and probally not toooooo cleaver only taking 1 level 2 wiz against 3 vampires
