Sci Fi Convention at Exeter Feb 25-26 2012

Hi all,
Hope things at the Giant's Lair are going well. Thought this might appeal to some of you, I'm helping to organise a Sci Fi and Fantasy Convention in Exeter on the 25th-26th February.

A small and informal convention, come along and meet the guests and join us for a big group meal on the Saturdy and a charity auction on the Sunday ( If you'd like to join us for the meal please message me so I can sort out seats).

Speakers include:

Anneke Wills, actor and former Doctor Who companion (Saturday only)

Jasper Fforde, author of the award winning Thursday Next novels (Saturday only)

Richard Freeman, cryptozoologist and hunter of legendary creatures from the Mongolian Death Worm to gigantic anacondas.

Phillip Reeve, award wining author of the steam punk young adult novels 'Mortal Engines'

SF journalist Steve Green, who will also be screening some of the latest short films entered for the fantasy Delta Film Award.

Nick Walters, Doctor Who author

February 25-26th, opening at 10am Saturday.
Entry £12 public, £10 students, £8 members

Location: JCR, Devonshire House (saturday), Pippa Langston Suite, Cornwall House (sunday), University of Exeter, Streatham Campus.
