They are looking damn cool. No idea on price yet other than converting the euro price. The first wave is the 3rd of october with the second wave on the 19th.

Well it's my first post so it had to be about Space Wolves!

Basic box set looks nice for bits - I especially like the guy with the 2 handed axe. Also head variants look promising. However, big no-no is purity seals. Big mistake GW! Space Wolves use runes not flappy bits of paper. Also means loads of carving to remove them from the models.

Some of you guys already know my view about space marines riding animals - something about it just doesn't sit right with me. Not for me!

Love the WG terminators - I'm getting my hands on as many of these as I can!!! The pictures don't seem to give much confirmation of the rumours that there will be options for ambidextrous weapon combos i.e. LH Stormbolters, RH Power Fists etc. We'll have to wait and see!

Njal is a beauty and will go straight into my army!!!! Rumours suggest that he has the equivilent of permanent Stormcaller and access to 6 Space Wolf psychis powers. Oh how I wish that this is true! Oh and it looks like GW stole my idea of a raven on the shoulder. My converted RP has sported one for at least the last 12 months!!

The last guy is a Direct order only if my translation is right. Not keen on single lightning claw configurations though.

I'm really looking forward to this release (how could you guess) and GD cannot come too soon.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it but here is the basic SW sprue that's been posted on GW website.

Surprising that there's no meltagun (currently special weapon of choice) or flamer.
Would have been nice to get a right handed power fist (nit-picking I know!).

However, you do get a very nice thunder hammer and storm shield, tactical SM sized lightning claws (no more using Termi arms), left handed bolter and storm bolter, loads of heads (I make it at least 24?) and lots of nice wolfie bits.

Overall not to bad.

The sprues are cool it is surprising about the meltaguns though. i will just order them as a bits pack i think. You get 2 of these sprues in a box meaning a total of 48 heads! The codex arrives in the store tomorrow i cant wait!

Plymouth are only letting people see the Termi sprues but they are nice.

Only one set of legs had purity seals so minimal scrapping, some really brilliant heads but alas the rumours about ambidextrous weapon load outs was false. Like all other chapters the SW gene seed can only generate Right Handed Space Marines!!

Only 4 pairs of LC and TH/SS in the set, no cyclone launcher or any combi-weapons.

The sergeant gets a great big wolf pelt that drapes over the top of his carapace and even better it's a separate piece so you can use it for other things.

All in all a great box.

I particularly like the cloak on the terminators. Epic advancing into the wind pose! Have you seent the codex yet in that case?

They are very cool. Thunderwolf cavalry units are where its at, Strength and Toughness 5 with 4 attacks and rending and 2 wounds!

Theres a guy called Arjak Rockfist who has a thunderhammer that he can throw and it teleports back to him!
