i need a few opinions on a 3000 point skink army list ive wrote

i dont know if your aloud to write army lists and post then up on the forum as ive never seen anyone else put one on here but i need a few opinions on a 3000 point skink army list as it will cost a lot of money to make and just wondered what everyones thoughts on it were and if your not aloud to post army lists ill remove it

lol cheers for the reply matt what do you think of it good or bad its a themed skink southlands sotek red host army so i dont know how well it will play hopefully it will do quite well

it really good list one of those ranked skink units is hard enough lol just imagine what 2 can do

yh i suppose it cost a lot of money though to get the extra units its going to cost £174.90

not really thats about 3 days pay i hate that ive got to pay that much but oh well its a good army list and ill have a complete legendary battles skink army so it will mean ive got loads to paint

If you want ti to be competitive as you are spending a lot of money getting an army like that then you can change alot

salamanders either run them as singles or my prefered as units of 2.

Chameleon skinks and terradons are your best friend.

Stegadons are worth going cheap if at all, personally i dont run any as find them easy points.

Trial scar vets on cold ones and temple guard with slann as you nee dhim in any army to be competitive.

EOTG has ok synergy with slann with light/life

no not really a competitive list its just for fun its a liazardmen army thats just skinks i dont really like chameleon skinks there not worth there points or terradons as there really expensive in the 8th as you have to have loads of the terradons which is ridiculous and 3 salamanders can burn units into being useless in one turn so 3 units of 3 can decimate

it can be used competitions and tournaments my skink army lists usually do quite well

chameleoon are one of the best units available to lizards and so are terradons, they are one of the best points to utility units in the game. And i understand what your saying about the salamanders, but 3 slamanders is quite hard to manouvre effectively, why singles and doubles are far mor effective, plus 225 for a cheap disposable unit is a lot.

Skinks in general are amazing, but you will struggle to take a skink army to a tournament as they always comp them at 2/3 units of skinks and salamanders r comped at one unit or max of 3 salas, also terradons and chameleon are usually comped to 0-2 untis per army normally.

i use normal cheaper skinks instead owen and my problem with chameleon skink and terradons are metal and in 8th edition its too pricey to get a decent sized unit

use plastic skinks and do them ina camofalge scheme is what I did for chameleon and never had anyone say anything different in any tournament I have been to. Scout with always can double tap and march is rather useful

yh i suppose i would do that in friendly games but for some tournaments you cant proxy things id have to buy some i do like the chameleonk skink character oxyotl
