Can you mix & match characters in each others army? E.g BSB from one army in a unit from the other etc? If so, there could be some nasty combos!!

Only if they're from the same army book.

Chaos Dwarfs & Warriors should be a good team. There is a rules pack out now to help with the army comp. I hope to have this on line soon. I also can get you a paper copy if needed. If you have any questions please asked and I'll do my best to help

hi guys, i wa reading the vampire counts army book, and it says that if your general dies you need to take a stability test for all non vampires in the army!

What I would like to know is;

1) If the general dies but he's not a vampire "like in the case of Jay and myself" do I need to take tests? which would seem daft.

And;
2) If both armies are undead "like Andy and Derek" if you kill the overall army general does all the army take tests or only that generals half of the army?

Hi Lee,

In both cases we are going to have to follow the RAW interpretation so if the army general is killed then the Vampires will have to take crumble tests who ever is the general. You can make up your own fluff why this would happen.

Think this would make more sense: Andy & Derek's army would follow the normal rules for an Undead army i.e both guys roll to see whose character is the general for that game, treating both armies as 1 army, & when the general dies the army as a whole takes crumble tests.

In the case of me & Lee's mixed army, if my Daemon character is the general Lee's army shouldn't be affected by its death as the Daemon has no control of the undead. Lee's army should only take crumble tests when the character with the highest Ld in his army dies.

the tensions building, when is the draw being done, and hows the info pack coming along?

The draw will be done on the 14th the first night of battles. There is a rule pack out at the moment however Rob's computer has broke so he couldn't e-mail it to ant. I have a copy, are you at the club this thursday if not I could drop it over your house.

Hi Andy, the draw is taking place next Thursday. This is to avoid teams tailoring their armies to try & beat any of the "stronger" teams that they might get drawn against!

As for the rules pack, speak to Rob or Owen.

2 of the staff from GW are interested in taking part in the tourney Thursday.
Will this be possible, or do we have everyone we need now?

There are some crazy teams out there no easy draws which is fantastic. I reackon there are definatly a few teams to avoid in the 1st round whilst you find your feet with your partner in battle.

i won't be happy and i don't think guy will be either if we face a twin DE combo in the first round.
